Started in 1984 (India) it was established by Dr. N Chandrashekhara in Bengaluru, Karnataka. As a leading distributor of industrial automation products, Datasensor represents many leading companies such as Datalogic, Micro Detectors, Teledyne Dalsa and Neousys to name a few.

Initially, the products imported were only Photosensors for automatic packaging.

Now 38 years down the line, the product range has enlarged to cover Safety Curtains, Barcode, Inductive & Capacitive sensors, Vision systems and laser marking to cater to the ever-increasing range of factory automation products.

The year 2006 was another landmark year for us since we changed our corporate identity to DATASENSOR INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED. This is only a change of name, all corporate activities and statutory functions remain the same.
